If any of the five eyes get too directly involved, Russia takes out US Satellites, poking out the eye on the sky that feeds data to the AFU Nettle (And maybe plugs a defenseless carrier with a Kintzal). US takes out Russian satellites. Both AFU and RF are satellite blind in Ukraine - advantage RF. Then whose satellites are left - China. So China will not come forward more than they have militarily.
