I never criticized DeSantis for imposing any lockdowns or mandates -- at least not on this thread (yet). I'll get around to that shortly.
What I DID do was point out the absurdity of having DeSantis criticize the Federal government for imposing lockdowns/mandates that he himself imposed in Florida. This is the kind of crap I would expect from a greasy, dishonest career politician -- which explains why there's no seat for me on the Ron DeSantis bandwagon.
And in response to that, you all came on here and fell all over yourselves making excuses for what DeSantis did.

No excuses, just facts. The timeline was that when C19 hit our shores, everyone did what the fedgov and CDC directed. It was the natural process of these things when the bell is first rung. However, Desantis, after getting some other advisement and seeing what the lockdown/mask madness was doing elsewhere, reversed those polices in short order, as did a couple other governors. That's it. I live here. I saw it.

Your attacks on DeSantis, in your continued attempts to prop up Trump, ring completely hollow when you go back and look at what was happening at the time.
Take this article for example. DeSantis was AGAINST the lockdowns, and clearly only followed Trump’s guidance, and Trump was praising DeSantis effusively for doing it. This has been pointed out to you multiple times before yet you keep insisting DeSantis not Trump was responsible for the lockdowns. Try to commit it to permanent memory this time:
