Mexico’s president posted a photo on his social media accounts Saturday showing what he said appeared to be a mythological woodland spirit similar to an elf.
President Andrés Manuel López Obrador did not seem to be joking when he posted the photo of an “Aluxe,” a mischievous woodland spirit in Mayan folklore.
López Obrador wrote the photo “was taken three days ago by an engineer, it appears to be an aluxe,” adding “everything is mystical.”

because the cryptids have special powers that blur the photos-
but seriously- they are usually taken with cameras with very small sensors, and or no stabilization in some cases which blurs the photos- not many folks carry around high end cameras but many do carry small sensor phone cameras- the person is usually excited and afraid they wont get a good shot of something spectacular or weird so they rush hte shots many times-

lol yup- saw a ‘special’ where a woman claimed to have grown up with bigfoot in the ‘neighborhood’ whom she regularly conversed with lol- a russian scientists actually went down and believed her nonsense- Somehow the bigfoots knew english and politely asked for Garlic for their deer meat and even knew to knock on the door etc-
you just couldn’t take your eyes off the show- it was so unbelievable- the funniest part was where she mimicked their voices-
