The University of Cambridge has been accused of being a “bit racist” after it was revealed that it had initially blocked working-class white students from a post-graduate programme designed for students from underrepresented groups.
A post-graduate “participation project” initially barred white students from applying. The programme would offer free accomodation on campus for six weeks, as well as an intern’s wage for 35 hours per week while the students trained in research skills.

Systemic racism against whites continues. How many of the hypocrites running these universities are white supremacists?
Pretty sure the goal is for blacks to keep whites as slaves for a couple hundred years. And even that wouldn’t satisfy the race baiters, including the WHITE ones. BTW - I’ve got a multi-racial family. But there really seems to be one race that just doesn’t get along, ON AVERAGE, with any other race.
I had a black friend who, after what I thought were years of friendship, turned on me and my wife during “The Summer of Love”. It completely blew me away. I had no idea he harbored so much resentment and anger against me and my wife just because he’s black and we are not.
When someone you have known and trusted for years turns on you and attacks you bitterly over “race”, it makes it really hard to trust the sincerity of friendship when I meet others of that race. It just does. Wounds heal slowly, and once bitten is twice shy.
Gone are the days (think late 90s to 2010) where I though we were making real progress. If anything, we’re going backwards now. Fast.
BTW - after he came out in the open, it turned out he had a limited access Facebook page where he pushed the idea that all blacks were oppressed by non-blacks. Whites, Reds, Yellows, Browns - if you were not black, he believed you were and are automatically an oppressor.

Sadly, the United States of America is, indeed, home to systemic/institutional racism/sexism, and its name is “affirmative action.”
Straight, white males are the only people it is legal to discriminate against, and discrimination against them is required by law.
And, simultaneously with legislated POC supremacist powers targeting them, straight, white males are “white supremacists.”

The history of humanity tells a very unpleasant story—we were indoctrinated to believe “we are different”.

I disagree. My wife isn’t my race. My kids are biracial. Know a number of biracial “Hispanics”, who don’t view themselves as Mexican or Cuban. Most Asians have no issues with marrying and raising kids outside of their ancestry. In my limited experience, Indians tend to see things tribally and that may be part of the reservation system - along with bad treatment by whites and the government.
But I see no reason why we cannot find a way to get along, except some make money and gain political power by flaming the fires of racism. Democrats. That is who I blame!

What you discovered was that he was never your friend. It was just useful to him to pretend to be your friend, until the pressure became too much.
I teach my progeny not to ever start thinking that their particular race makes them somehow superior. That the very notion of racial “pride” is nonsensical. How can one be proud of the accomplishments of others? And it works both ways. Why should an individual bear the shame of the sins of another?
I also teach them to be cautious in their dealings with black people, because black people hate them.
