The 'rule' is always that nations should not invade one another.

At the same time, it is not America’s job to enforce that rule everywhere in the world.

But it is definitely in America's interest that Putin's Russia be foiled here.

Regards,

Russia is not an inherent threat to us nor to Western Europe.

The same people who laugh at the “buffoonish and decrepit” Russian military and their “tremendous losses” in Ukraine also seem to think that Russia is going to attack NATO and take over the world. You can’t have it both ways.

We are currently taking the risk of nuclear war because we don’t think that the traditional Russian Empire should be the Russian Empire.

Not my circus. Not my monkeys. I don’t care what happens to Ukraine. The wider world is only in danger if we choose to endanger ourselves. We’ve been the World’s Policeman for almost 80 years and it’s been a stupid role from start to finish.

Russia won’t be foiled here because Ukraine is next to their border. And we have no interest in Ukraine.
