It also called for an end to “Cold War mentality” — China’s standard term for what it regards as U.S. hegemony, and maintenance of alliances such as NATO....
U.S. State Department spokesman Ned Price had said earlier Thursday that the U.S. would reserve judgment on the proposal but that China’s allegiance with Russia meant it was not a neutral mediator....
U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said on CNN Thursday that his first reaction to the proposal was that “it could stop at point one, which is: Respect the sovereignty of all nations.”...

With the USA and Europe as their largest customers, China knows the old phrase;” there is no percentage in murder”.
And if the suckers stop buying, who will feed the millions of hungry Chinese...
This is all? I’m disappointed. Even though I don’t trust China, I thought they would come up with something at least a little bit more ingenious than just the usual platitudes. They could have at least offered some free stereo speakers or stir fry.
