I thought Palestine was crawling with people testing the air, water, ground, ..., and they’ve not found dangerous amounts of toxic substances. Who do we believe?

These tankers have pressure relief valves installed on them. What they should have done is smothered the fire with fire fighting foam available at all major airports, let the cars cool, and then pumped the chemicals into simi-tankers. Now there is toxic ash/soot from East Palistine all the way down the East Coast, and likely south down the Mississippi River.
Based on an anonymous source in the US intelligence community, Seymour Hersh is reporting that the train derailment was in fact a planned chemical weapon attack against the East Palestinians by the Biden administration.
