Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Gerardo Castillo confirmed that 73-year-old Kelly posted bond Wednesday after appearing in court.

Sounds like he is an old idiot
Arizona has become a kangaroo sanctuary?
.......so, if it turns out Kelly did not shoot the guy at all and it was instead a fellow trespasser with a gun, or a cartel punk with a gun, what will you say then?
Who’s going to be the ‘idiot’ then?
Santa Cruz County may be the most liberal county in Arizona. Don’t look for justice there! Voted 2:1 for Katie Hobbs. And Nogales, IIRC, is 90% Hispanic.
“sounds like he is an old idiot”
Enlighten us! Knee jerk much???
Go down there and put up with this invading BULL CRAP and get back to us!
He’s your fellow American! The invader reentered many times! Arizona has laws to protect their property.
SHAME ON YOU
SPEW ON, I WON’T READ YOUR IGNORANT PUKE.
Are you kidding me, this guy has had his property broken into several times, he and his wife are elderly and ALONE your comment is nauseating!!
Who reported this event to the authorities? Didn’t the farmer own a shovel?
Murder is murder, I know you know that. I hope he didn’t illegally murder him.
So you know it was self-defense?
Go to hell
Why does that matter to you? Illegal people trespassing on his property, opened the door. What gave the illegal trespassers the belief that they would be allowed to trespass on private property and not suffer the results?
Biden’s policies
Not exactly, but I see the relevance. They can cross where there are Border Patrol and be allowed in, but traversing privaely owned ranch land is a different story.
As a rule, trespass cannot be punished with death. I’m sympathetic to the rancher and hope he gets off, but you can’t shoot someone for trespass.
13-411. Justification; use of force in crime prevention; applicability
A. A person is justified in threatening or using both physical force and deadly physical force against another if and to the extent the person reasonably believes that physical force or deadly physical force is immediately necessary to prevent the other’s commission of arson of an occupied structure under section 13-1704, burglary in the second or first degree under section 13-1507 or 13-1508, kidnapping under section 13-1304, manslaughter under section 13-1103, second or first degree murder under section 13-1104 or 13-1105, sexual conduct with a minor under section 13-1405, sexual assault under section 13-1406, child molestation under section 13-1410, armed robbery under section 13-1904 or aggravated assault under section 13-1204, subsection A, paragraphs 1 and 2.
If the guy opened fire out of frustration rather than for one of the legally acceptable reasons, he’s in trouble. And should be.
I’m not a lawyer. Just pointing out what I was taught in CCW class.
BTW, I’ve regularly crossed privately owned ranch land in Arizona. Legally. You have to post the property lines if you don’t allow people to cross. The owner can require them to leave, but cannot threaten or use force if the person is willing to leave when asked.
You know nothing of the case. Why are you so upset?
You know nothing about this present case. Why are you all upset?
