Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) edges Rep. Katie Porter (D-Calif.) in one of the first polls conducted in the race to replace retiring Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), who announced her retirement earlier this month.
Schiff received 22 percent of support in the University of California, Berkeley-Los Angeles Times poll, with Porter garnering 20 percent — a difference that is within the poll’s 2.5 percent margin of error.
Rep. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), who launched her campaign for the seat earlier this week, polled at 6 percent and Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), who is rumored to be considering a bid, came in at 4 percent.

Our nightmare with Schiff continues. Even if that Senate seat is supposed to represent California, nearly all DC critters are slaves to the DEM party and the Deep State. His mug would be on TV daily.

That the top choices for Diane Feinstein’s successor are Adam Schiff, Katie Porter, and Barbara Lee shows just how much the Golden State has deteriorated. It’s hard to believe any of those could win a statewide election.

I live in Schiff’s district and would NOT like to see him become California’s next senator - but the choice will be between three Commies - replacing an old Commie (Feinstein).
Every single person I know hates and despises Schiff- and we all vote. He gets elected from the fringes of the city (large apartment buildings), lefty women who live in gated mansions up in the hills, H1-B workers (there are plenty here), illegals and vote fraud.
Quite a choice: a bug-eyed, sociopathic liar whose every pronouncement - including “hello” must always be taken with a grain (large) of salt, a far-left crone who treats her underlings like plantation slaves, a lefty loon whose connection to reality is at best tenuous, and lastly, maybe, an ambitious and cynical gamer of the system, whose greatest asset is that he at least appears to be normal.
California is so tribal in voting. Sex, race, and sexual preference.
“Edges out” implies some sort of victory. It is an opinion poll so placing anywhere this far away from even an actual primary election, “edges out” is a meaningless term and actually click bait. I looked more closely because it seemed like Schiff actually defeated someone. That has not happened.
Any election news in America is just state propaganda scripted, distributed, and content managed, for a specific "approved" outcome. You know to preserve our democracy.... against existential threats.
