While I think DeSantis is the better of the two because he appears less likely to surround himself with traitorous actors, Trump is still the only one willing to fight ugly enough to counter the outright fraud and criminal actions the democrats employ.

In the end I think Trump more likely to fight the machine enough to even have a chance at winning, problem is he goes off the rails with his ego.

Oh and has a proven track record of hiring horrible people for government service, he tends to hire seditious traitors.

50% may be enough to win the nomination, but it is a terrible performance for the Republican two-time nominee.

It is a waving red flag, even though many folks here are deep in denial.

Mike Pence: 6%
Nikki Haley: 6%
Liz Cheney: 3%

I don’t believe any of those. Maybe Pence on the basis of name recognition, but even that is doubtful.

Time for The Hill to put out a contradicting poll. Or for that matter breitbart may do it themselves. They are known for putting out crappy polls too.

Prediction: he'll go into primaries that will be rigged but his support will be too high to overcome. Then he'll go into the convention with all the delegates he needs and the GOP will change whatever rules they need to so they can simply refuse to nominate him. Third party run will split the vote allowing the dem to win easily, especially with all the officially sanctioned, court approved election fakery. After these shenanigans the GOP will be totally dead politically for a generation, if not forever with no support but mysteriously they will win elections in enough places to retain permanent minority status and keep the illusion of a two party system alive.

All this assumes that Trump isn't indicted, jailed or given the Epstein treatment (or all three) prior to the convention.

50 percent is nice. He needs a heck of a lot more for the general.

Neither Trump nor DeSantis can win in 2024 because institutional election fraud will not have been addressed in any significant way by then.

That said, I support Trump 100% to be the nominee. He is most likely to focus the nation's attention on the oligarchy's machinations, and will provide endless hours of entertainment doing it. His 2016 campaign was the best thing I ever saw in politics. :)

DeSantis in 2028 will have a better chance to knock off an unpopular Democrat incumbent - even Good Hair Newsom.

Seems about correct to me. Most regular Republicans support Trump. People who go for the chamber of commerce Rupert Murdoch view don’t like him, but they never did.
