I AGREE!
The gubmit should give an AR-15 rifle (including lots of ammo) to EVERY “CITIZEN” (I said CITIZEN not ILLEGAL ALIEN).
FREE!
An ARMY of the people to combat all enemies foreign and (ESPECIALLY) domestic.
But no indirect fire!
Hey, just what ya see, Pal.
“A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined,
but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition
to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government”.
-George Washington

I did not know that about Arnold’s flubbed line.
However, in my investigation of plasma collator plates, I see the maximum rating is 73 Watts. 40 Watts is a good power level for plasma rifles. 40 watts may not seem like a lot, until you understand that the plasma slug will be impacting at a temperature of about 12,000 degrees fahrenheit.
It’s an extremely small slug, so the 40 watts is used to turn the slug into plasma (38.2 watts) and launch it (1.8 watts).
My credentials are, I am an E5 Specialist Armorer specializing in Plasma weaponry. I joined the Resistance in 2038.
Why not, we have a national bird.
Yeah, and here it is.
Yes. I agree.
I don’t own an AR. Probably never will, although I can reload it. Even have brass and bullets for it. And a lot more calibers.
The rifles I shoot are 30 caliber and up. And that simplifies the issue of primers.
hehe....so much to look forward to :)
I dunno…
I kind of think the M1 Garand fills that slot ( yeah I know Kohn GRand was Canadian, blah blah blah…)
Maybe a toss up here…
Picture this: a school district or several school districts throw out all leftist instruction (and teachers) and set up their own curriculum which is conservative and patriotic and part of that curriculum is mandatory instruction in the use of firearms.
Wouldn’t it be a hoot to see the hysterical reaction of the left?
“Standard Gov. issue Colt .45 is my choice.”
it’s not about guns. It’s about control, protection of certain people, wealth, and power. Guns are only one of their tools used to promote fear and the perception that they are the only ones saving you from the big bad wolf at the door.
Fear of gun deaths, covid, crime they don’t stop and actually promote, balloons that have been watching us for a hundred years, mistreatment of humanity based upon race while they attack every religious organization they can, (both are in the first amendment), the list is endless. Does it make any difference what type of gun kills someone? A 22 caliber single shot rifle can kill just as well as a 54 caliber sharps. And in way too many cases, does it make any difference if you can’t legally use it for protection because of the laws that have been worded ways to stop you? Is a guy threatening your life on your doorstep different from the one outside the front gate with a gun? Even a criminal with a history of violence that isn’t even supposed to have the gun and is jumping your gate has more rights than you do? He can use his any way he wishes and will be on the street in 24 hours.
I own a 20 gauge shotgun semi-auto inside my house. I picked that gauge so it would be easy for my wife to use it and a 4-10 costs way more than they should. I ain’t worried. But for me. it’s a tool. Not a possession.

I think attention to the concept is probably more important than which gun is favored with the designation. When you start putting it beside the national anthem. The Eagle, the Flag, maybe something less specific like long gun fills the bill. Far more people are familiar with 22’s and shotguns than AR’s, just my 2 cents, keep it simple, focus on the concept, not a specific gun.
