and the courts would be wrong. Why else would the Founders have used a special descriptor for who was eligible to be POTUS and Vice-POTUS?
Because someone can be naturalized in adulthood to a US citizen. Someone born here is naturally a citizen. There is nothing they have to do to be a US citizen. Someone born outside the country (to a non citizen parent) has to apply or ask for citizenship.
