alongside mounds of black coal.
Thanks Yahoo! News. I had no idea coal was black. Idiot writer must be paid by the word.
Pay no attention... nothing is going on... nothing at all...
Any stats on the food processing facility explosions? How frequent or rare those are?
It was assigned blackness by early miners.
When the lights would go out in the mines, it was black in them.
The early miners associated this blackness with coal.
If any miners tried any funny business with a fellow miner when the light was black, there would be a mine ‘accident’.
Thus the phobia of multi-colored coal never made it to the surface.
Oil, however, still is known by most folks as BLACK gold; which is strange because it can be found in WET water.
Small amounts of oil on water reveals the multi-colors hidden in it.
Unfortunately, no data.
