Former president Trump ripped into Fox News on Tuesday over its coverage of the political ascendance of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R).
“So interesting to watch FoxNews cover the small and unenthusiastic 139 person crowd in Staten Island for DeSantis, but stay as far away as possible from coverage of the thousands of people, many unable to get in, at the Club 47 event in West Palm Beach, Florida,” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social on Tuesday.
“I call FoxNews the RINO Network, and their DOWN BIG Ratings accurately reflect the name. If FAKE NEWS CNN was smart, which they’re not, they’d go Conservative & “All Trump, All the Time,” like in 2016, and become a Ratings Juggernaut,” he added.
During his time in the White House, Trump could typically count on top hosts on Fox — the top rated cable news channel in 2022 — to heap praise on him and his administration.

Can’t say I watch the Paul Ryan Run network anymore. I’ll watch Tucker on other venues. You have at it for us both.
Why does Fox News spend any time on that?? It's only guaranteed to make DeSantis look bad.
Lacking in loyalty skills.
News Corp owns the publisher of DeSantis’ upcoming book.
A coinkydink...?
It’s a matter of how they cover the “acceptable” candidates v the un acceptable ones
President Trump has to stop this. He will never lose his base, but he’s not winning anyone else over.
I don’t think these attacks are very smart. His attacks will cause people to pay attention to DeSantis and when they realize that DeSantis isn’t the person Trump claims he is, they will abandon Trump. Just because Trump leads the polls now doesn’t mean his support won’t crater. Jeb was “cruising” to the nomination in 2015 and we saw what happened there.
I agree with Ann Coulter, “Trump is all talk and no action while DeSantis is no talk and all action.”
This is the BS DeSantis-attacking that TRUMP must stop if he wants my vote. The problem is BIDEN!!! Not Fox, Not DeSantis, Not Haley!
His base certainly isn't what it was.
Just look around here on Free Republic. Lots more criticism of Trump than there used to be.
He’s right. As usual
I sat through the Five yesterday. Usually we just skip through for Gregg’s stupid pet tricks- I’d like to watch his show but his gay sex promotions are not comedy nor informative-
Judge Jeanine claimed we’ve given ukraine $30 bil. What planet?
They can say whatever they want to say about DeSantis. People totally ignore what trump has done, can do, will do and has the capability, education, business and political experience to do
They’re RINO.
Fox sucks
He is essentially presenting RDS (DeSantis needs a three letter moniker) with free advertising. It's a backward publicity stunt.
BTW, I have the DeSantis book on order, should be released in a week.
Can't wait.
I'll wager that many Trump-voting GOPers who find themselves weary of cringing at Trump's perpetual name calling will be reading the RDS book as well.
Didn’t Trump start calling then Faux News after January 6th?
I’m good with that. I gave up on faux during the 2016 debates as a result of the blonde bimbo attacking Trump.
“This is the BS DeSantis-attacking that TRUMP must stop if he wants my vote. The problem is BIDEN!!! Not Fox, Not DeSantis, Not Haley!”
Exactly!
Agreed. He has experience on the job and knows the issues. These tactics worked in 2015-2016 but they won’t work well now. Too many really important issues to address. He should be hammering on the policies he implemented that Biden reversed.
I understand he has to win a primary but he has some vulnerabilities. Florida didn’t do the drastic shutdown that NY and CA did. DeSantis could blame Trump for not being tough enough against the forces aligned against him. Just one example of his potential domestic policy vulnerabilities. Not saying I have chosen a candidate just saying it’s not going to be the same primary and he needs a new schtick.
My God, STHU Trump, you’re not winning any points, SMH. WHO is advising him?? WHO???? Sheesh.
