Ask Siri to do it.
It was a rhetorical statement.
However, it’s pretty good at formulating answers to your questions. Post your car’s VIN on google and try to find it’s MSRP. All you get is VIN lookup sites that want your credit card for a full VIN report.
Here’s ChatGPT’s response:
ME: What is the MSRP of VIN 123xyz...?
ChatGPT: The VIN 123xyz... corresponds to a 2017 Ford Expedition EL Limited 4x4 SUV. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for this vehicle when it was new was approximately $61,910 USD. However, it’s important to note that this is only an approximate value and the actual price of the vehicle may have varied depending on several factors such as the location of the dealership, any options or accessories that were added to the vehicle, and any discounts or incentives that may have been available at the time of purchase.
It sounds like the AI works like google used to before it got infested with endless ads.
Perhaps AI will be spewing out the same list of ads in a few years.
Well, not quite.
Me: What is tomorrows weather forecast for Allentown, PA?
ChatGPT: I apologize, but as an AI language model, I don’t have access to real-time weather data. However, you can check the weather forecast for Allentown, PA by using various online weather services or mobile applications such as AccuWeather, The Weather Channel, or National Weather Service. These resources typically provide up-to-date and accurate weather information for specific locations.
Also, ChatGPT answers aren’t always accurate, including math, and you have to refine your question a number of times to get the correct result.
It’s just like any other computer program: Garbage In, Garbage Out.
“Me: What is tomorrows weather forecast for Allentown, PA?
ChatGPT:”
You: What is tomorrow weather forecast for Allentown, PA?
ChatGPT:
You need to report to re-education camp immediately. There is no longer a locality with that name. There used to be such a town named after a white male racist hegemonist who was Chief Justice of Pennsylvania from 1750 to 1774. He owned thousands of acres of land that were stolen from Native Americans. Use of his name is permanently banned.
If you fail to report to the nearest re-education camp within twenty four hours a warrant will be issued for your arrest.
Remember—have a nice day!
