COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— Republican South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham is calling on the Biden administration to provide Ukraine with F-16 Fighter Jets as soon as possible.
Sunday, Graham said that includes training Ukrainian pilots as soon as possible.
Graham also urged the Biden administration to not be cautious or fearful of aggravating Russian President Vladimir Putin, saying: “Don’t worry about provoking Putin, worry about beating him.”

All of the swamp is pushing to secure the Laundromat while Putty piddles in the south. That piddling is his tactic. Get the Ukraine to waste ammo while NATO and others deplete their war stock. Ukraine is not going to defeat Russia but Russia can defeat the world if these morons keep pushing because there is not enough time to rebuild the war reserves when Putty pulls his trigger. Use common sense not hart string tugs. This is a well thought out plan. Linda was a AF JAG officer and is clueless to tactics or what it takes to win. We never lost anything in the Ukraine. There is no strategic value for the US but there is a huge laundromat for DC swamp. Yet Ohio is now a superfund site and nothing is being done while Uncle Joe meets the sweater man.
So what if Ukraine was not a part of Nato. Russia is acting in a predatory way and proving its self to be a threat to the well being of the world and that involves us. I think we would more likely avoid world war 3 by presenting a clear overwhelming power against Russia. We have to consider the threat to world peace of Russia is not stopped here as well plus the clear and obviously better option if Russia were defeated and divided itself up.

Hmmm. That sounds like the Bush-era Project for a New American Century policy to invade/attack Iraq, Syria, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Iran, etc, followed by other policy proposals to use Ukraine to weaken Russia and then later divide it up.
In the end it looks like just more military interventionism and adventurism, warmongering, and racking up trillions and trillions more in federal debt.
If it makes this country and the world safer by taking care of the bad guys and ending the continuous drama and threat they pose then so be it. You will notice the mid east is a lot safer now then when they were still in power. You haven’t seen any 9-11 attacks have you since then? Maybe you guys in the Young Republican clubs were not old enough to remember it but most of us on the board supported dealing with them decisively.
I am as tired of Lindsey Graham as I am with Adam Kinzinger.

What about the maintenance of those F-16s? We would literally have to give them support personnel to keep those planes fly and spare parts fuel the whole thing. It’s another in round to get us directly involved in fighting in Ukraine, for no damn reason other than the military industrial complex will make money. And Lindsey Graham will get his cut to his swiss bank account.

They were hardly “moderate Muslims” that were trained in Syria to fight Assad. That civil war in Syria has opened the door for Christians to be targeted.
Iran now effectively controls much of Iraq and things are worse now for Christians there.
Yemen has been obliterated in a proxy war.
Sure, it was far from perfect before as the former leaders in them were often brutal, but I believe in many instances things are worse and more unstable, so your worldview is clearly too short and limited to understand just how badly the neocons/neolibs have broken the ME.
