Well, in spite of their sordid intentions, people's kids often don't have the same wicked skills, or do as much damage as their evil parents did.   (Think, for example, of Stalin's kids, or Mussolini's kids, or Hitler's rumored illegitimate kid, or FDR's kids, or LBJ's kids, etc., etc., etc.)
