Am I missing something here?
There's even reports out there that Trump had to call DeSantis to convince him to lockdown. Do you need me to do dig those up for you too?
I'm not interested in any "report" that can't be verified with irrefutable evidence.
I've never excused DeSantis lockdown of Florida, other than in the context that includes Trump with regard to who is more responsible for issuing the first lockdown request. In that context, Trump is more responsible, and his attacks of DeSantis now are straight out of the book of Alinsky.
But even going down your angle of DeSantis and the lockdowns he in fact implemented, as Governor, are you not aware that he has now expressed some regret, and that this regret is in many ways at the core of his apparent refusal to support Trump?
And would that not be a reason to support DeSantis over Trump, on this issue? DeSantis REGRETS the lockdowns. Doesn't that put him ahead of Trump on the issue, who has never admitted a single mistake his entire life? Or are you going so far to want to completely excuse Trump for his nationwide lockdown guidelines, much less never expressing any regret?
