The dresser is in a spot that’s easily accessible. I can get it out myself without any problem. I just need to get the dresser out of here before I bother. It can go to the old house. I haven’t been in the barn for a couple of years but now that I’ve had my eyeballs on that chest of drawers again, I’m motivated. LOL Might get it done this week.

One “shopping trip” at a time...slowly uncovering things that someone might enjoy.

Eventually you will get to the small chest of drawers and be able to take it in the house.

WOOHOO!! The old wood stove was found and is now gone. One piece at a time.

Maybe one of the guys would want the dresser that you’re wanting to move before installing the dresser or chest that you like. I’m surprised the old house is still standing!

It will be nice to be rid of so much stuff. Maybe some of it is meant for the burn pile.

A very pleasant good Monday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.

How's everyone doing this morning?

The pile was probably twice as long, but the city has no place to take it.
Sooo, while I was at work the loaders came and made the footprint smaller by making the pile VERY much taller.

I can already get to the chest of drawers. I just have to make room for it in here. And give it a Murphy’s Oil Soap bath. It’s filthy from being in the barn for so many years.

I knew where the stove was. It was a matter of clearing a path to it and moving all the stuff that was piled around it and on top of it. They got the job done, though, and wrestled it out and onto the trailer. Those guys are probably sleeping on heating pads tonight. LOL They’re big fellas and they struggled with it. It’s HEAVY.

No one will want the dresser that’s in here. It’s fine as long as you don’t open any of the drawers, but open one and AVON STINK!!! Every drawer had some of that horrid old Avon junk that Aunt Martha hauled back from CO when she moved back years ago. That might be one to go to the burn pile. LOL I don’t know if that stink will ever come out.

There’s plenty of stuff in every outbuilding that needs to go to the wood pile. Or the dump.

Oh, my goodness! How rude of them! Couldn’t they dump it in a vacant lot or something. Not in front of someone’s house? Can you even leave the house with that mountain out there? LOL!

Man it looks soooo cold. I would perish in that.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

Did you and Gizmo have a good time at Comanche Lake yesterday? Was it a nice enough day to draw a crowd?

EEUUWW! That’s awful! I’m surprised you can’t smell it even with the drawers closed. No wonder you’d like to get rid of it.

LOL!!!! I shouldn’t laugh because I know all those piles of snow are a problem for everyone. But it looks like they’ve figured out a way to make them take up a little less room on the streets.

It needs to stop snowing! Your poor mailbox is almost buried.

Those icicles look downright wicked.

Surprisingly, you can’t smell the Avon stink - - as long as the drawers stay closed. There’s nothing in them so there’s no reason to open the drawers. I’ll have to take the drawers out to move it and I’ll wear a mask. LOL

I had to wait a few minutes up at KFC to get our supper but we did get our supper and had a great time at Comanche Lake yesterday. Here are the pics from yesterday at the lake.

I've also been working on getting our Simplsafe home alarm system back online. It was knocked off by a wind storm that kept turning the power on and off.

I restored the base station and then also the doos sensors. One of the sensors wasn't working and the other was running low on battery. I also re-installed the motion detector.

I am awaiting the new NIMH rechargeable batteries which I ordered from Walmart. They're do to arrive later today.

We do plan on going to Comanche lake again later today.

That’s the only good reason I can think of for a mask. Masking Avon. LOL!

I think I’m going to finish this movie and head out. I am so sleepy. I had a short nap this afternoon, but it didn’t do the trick. See ya tomorrow!

Glad you two had a good time and didn’t have to fight off a crowd. Gizmo looked tuckered out so it must have been a good romp around the lake. LOL

Good luck with your home alarm system. Darn wind storms!

I haven’t worn a mask otherwise. LOL I just hope it’ll work to keep the stink out of my nostrils.

Sleep well and sleep late. Catch ya tomorrow.
