Parents and students alike are furious over a lascivious sex survey sent to 10th-grade students, roughly 15 and 16 years old. The parents were never informed that the survey was being sent to the students’ school-provided computers.
The survey — part of a Healthcare class at Sachem High School East in Farmingville, N.Y. — questioned kids about their sexual preference as well as their sexual history, gender identity, and — oddly — their weight.
Some of the wildly inappropriate questions on the survey include;
The survey then goes on to ask about sexual preference.
Which of the following best describes you?
FACT-O-RAMA! I always thought ‘queer” meant “gay,” but gaycenter.org defines queer as “An adjective used by some people whose sexual orientation is not exclusively heterosexual or straight. This umbrella term includes people who have nonbinary, gender-fluid, or gender-nonconforming identities. Once considered a pejorative term, queer has been reclaimed by some LGBTQIA+ people to describe themselves; however, it is not a universally accepted term even within the LGBTQIA+ community.”
The survey then went on to ask students about their weight and whether they planned to gain or lose any. Weird…
As expected, the unacceptably invasive questionnaire was — according to the school superintendent — sent simply for the sake of the students.

This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)
The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.
Seems pretty clearly a ruse to prevent the pervs from having to go to the trouble of cruising. ID the most likely targets based on their own words, and move in.
Q-Have you ever had sex with an older male/female?
A-Does your wife count?
Here is another one....and, ANOTHER reason to homeschool....wake up, parents...
“I have a masters degree! What do the parents have? Are we vetting the background of parents?”
Crazy teacher gone wild hates parents. The scary part is she is not an anomaly, she’s the norm in public schools.pic.twitter.com/6Fl61kvPFz— Liz Wheeler (@Liz_Wheeler) February 19, 2023
I lived in one of the first coed dorms. We were surveyed the second semester.
In truth most of the young men on my floor (an honors floor) couldn’t get a date at a brothel if we had a hundred dollar bill. However, our responses to this survey claimed we scored more than Wayne Gretzky.
I don’t know why anyone wastes their time thinking that teenage boys will be candid about their sex lives.
In high school we were given a survey on drug use. A friend of mine, who had never even tasted beer, asked “ how do you spell LSD”? As a group we claimed to have consumed every drug known to man, plus we probably made up a couple.
