My friends in the pro-life community say he was very actively pro-life.

Obviously, very concerning, then.
Prayers.

I wonder if it was a hit by the pro-abortion crowd.

Turning the crime clock back about twenty years, wasnât there some bad stuff in or around Hacienda Heights in regard to a Buddhist (?) temple acting as a funding source for some prominent politicians? Albert Gore may have been the beneficiary of Chinese contributions.
The whole thing faded from view nationally but there were some LA area FReepers keeping tabs on it regardless.
Could there possibly be a China connection to this murder? Not accusing anyone, just idle speculation.

I vaguely remember that. There was some mention of it in talk radio. I think Rush mentioned it. Allegedly some irregular âfund raisingâ going on.

Gay stuff? Just asking as a Catholic who has observed this kind of behavior elsewhere in the church

One, prayers for the soul of this priest. As for the gay question, O’Connell was a BIG pusher of the LBQT agenda. Google it.

I doubt it was FBI. I have the impression there is enough gang activity there for this to be a typical crime such as a home invasion robbery, or a hit because of a grudge against the Bishop. He had apparently been a priest, and then auxiliary bishop, in âthe hoodâ for over 40 years.

In Los Angeles? Hacienda Heights is about 20 miles east of Downtown Los Angeles...Take 60 freeway to get there...
An unincorporated part of Los Angeles County...It has no city council...
Many Hispanics and Asians live in that area...Not too many whites or blacks...
To: married21
Yeah? The FBI has already officially declared Catholics to be dangerous to the United States, especially if they adhere to the Latin mass.
