I don’t even believe the story about people not believing the media. That number is way less than 25%.
how many believe the govt, or is that the same thing?
And that 25% is leftist idiots.
THAT’S GOOD BUT THEY NEED TO ACT LIKE IT AND RESPOND APPROPRIATELY. I remember the FIB’s first JSix holiday. I was breezing through the channels. Saw a “protest” taking place at the Home of Corruption on Capitol Hill on FNC. Spent no more than 30 seconds there and moved on. The next day, I didn’t know what the hell all my conservative family and friends were talking about when they started whining about what had happened there. I was kind of sorry I missed it. They were really upset about something. Anyway, I just breezed right on by to Gunsmoke. WWMDD. (What Would Matt Dillon Do).
Plastic straws are banned across the United States because of a 9-year-old’s science fair project, and the ridiculous fact that the news media spread the idiotic conclusions.
There’s a reason why I and other conservatives keep pounding on the lies the media tells; often the lies themselves must be exposed to help people make good decisions. But as important is eroding trust in the media itself, because it is the bulwark that preserves the power of the elites.
We need to take that power away.
It is exhausting work but must be done on a personal level.
Something is wrong with this.
The media puts out leftist woke propaganda all the time.
The “wise” American trash allegedly “don’t believe the media.”
But they vote for everything the media promote-—woke, Leftist positions.
We good people don’t believe the media and we vote conservative.
The article premise doesn’t hold up. I think the people believe and obey the media.
Everything the author says is true, then he concludes with “We need to take that power away.” I’ve yet to hear anybody proffer good ways to “take their power away.”
I’m waiting for people to come their senses and vote our way out of this mess. Electing 35 fearless governors like DeSantis would be a great start.
It all comes down to the near-term (who manufactures the votes and who counts the votes) and the long-term (who is teaching our children and shrinking Fedzilla by 75%).
I’ll continue waiting to hit the $1 Billion Powerball lottery. I have better prospects that way.
“Only 25% of Americans believe the news media”
If ONLY that were true, we’d be living in a different country. To show that, just poll people regarding whether Trump ‘colluded’ with Russia or whether Russia’s invasion of Ukraine was provoked or whether Trump was a serial woman-abuser...and you get the REAL ANSWER.
The problem is that people are CLUELESS regarding the extent they’re being played, and that is what’s destroying the country.
Twenty-five percent of the population are morons.
The media of totalitarian regimes might have better numbers than this
Skepticism is alive and well... Let’s hope it stays that way, otherwise we will all become the sheeple who swallowed the Covid nonsense. Which sadly was a majority of the population.
Thankfully, many who did swallow that BS are beginning to realize that it was BS... Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice... We revolt!
F the news media!!!!!!
Whatever is the percentage, most of the believers are Dems/libs/progs and those who benefit from pretending the main media reports fairly.
But...for all those who think and see more clearly, why don’t they vote more sensibly??
The real news is that Democrats’ trust in the media is at a 3-decade high, if not an all time high.
Ha! When I listen to talk radio the Fox news breaks are propaganda poison. They pump out the regime narrative, only slightly more subtle than a RAT politican would.
It doesn’t matter whether we believe them. As long as we’re paying for the privilege of being entertained by them, they will continue to push the narrative whether we believe them or not.
I wish we could beef up the libel laws, if people give proven FAKE news, they should be fined the first time and imprisoned the second.
25% of Americans so dumb they couldn’t grab their own ass with both hands.
