I have a corded electric mower I bought over 20 years ago. It still works fine. I bought it for my old house which had a small yard. The new house has a much bigger yard and I have a riding mower, but the electric mower is used where the riding mower won’t fit.

We don’t get enough snow to warrant replacing my gas-powered unit. 54-inch cut Zero Turn rider, 21-inch push mower, trimmer, blower, and 16-chain saw Quiet, no smell, no oil changes, no gas cans sitting around, minimal maintenance. Charge the batteries for about two hours each week and cut and trim my yard and shrubs. They are more expensive up front, but at 71 the convenience factor alone is worth it.
