Biden White House was warned boost UFO reporting 2 years before latest shootdowns

President Biden admitted Thursday he had no idea what NORAD had detected in North American airspace last weekend when he ordered the military to use an estimated $1.6 million worth of Sidewinder missiles to down three UFOs now believed to have been harmless.

“We don’t yet know exactly what these three objects were,” the president added. “But nothing, nothing right now suggests they were related to China’s spy balloon program, or that they were surveillance vehicles from any other country.”

However, the White House had been warned two years earlier in a Congressionally-mandated report by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence that a lack of data on UFOs made proper identification all but impossible.

“The limited amount of high-quality reporting on unidentified aerial phenomena hampers our ability to draw firm conclusions about the nature or intent of UAP,” ODNI wrote, using the Pentagon’s preferred acronym for UFOs.

Biden on Thursday laid out a four-step plan to achieve “safer and more secure skies” following this month’s shootdown of the Chinese balloon and the three other objects — but much of the blueprint he discussed had already been suggested in the ODNI reports.

“We will establish a better inventory of unmanned airborne objects in space above the United States airspace and make sure that inventory is accessible and up to date,” Biden said. “Second, we will implement further measures to improve our capacity to detect unmanned objective objects in our airspace.”

But ODNI had already tasked the UAP office with those jobs in its reports, which urged the Pentagon to “facilitate more coordinated UAP efforts, resulting in greater attribution of UAP.”

"Mr President, we have located a small, ATV-sized airborne "craft" floating with the wind at about 20,000 feet over the midwest." "We don't know what it is but it doesn't appear to be a threat." "What should we do?"

President Biden: "Shoot it down. Blow it to smithereens!"

So just shoot down anything that looks unfamiliar? Biden has me rethinking going for my private pilots license.

You've got it. Whereas the DOD was all too eager to undermine President Trump's role as CinC, they are happy to click their heels, give a snappy one armed salute, and shoot down any balloon that embarrasses the POTard.

Interesting, too, that the government/media complex has pivoted back to "UFO" instead of "UAP". What's that all about?

And they used a $400,000 missile to shoot down what might have been a helium-filled hobby project. You would think they would have sent up a small, slow jet (like an A-10 Warthog) for a look-see before shooting.

Joe has all the judgment of Hunter in a state of crack withdrawal.

"When in doubt...blow the mo-fo out of the sky!"

The government has told us for many years UFO’s were weather balloons. Now these things really are weather balloons and they’re trying to convince us they’re UFO’s.

What's that all about?

Simplifying their acronym vocabulary.

Just imagine the chinese watching this and thinking, "Hey, we raunch thousands of harmless barroons now and watch running dog yankee hegemons deprete all missiles. Then all their base are berong to us."

It's a genius combination of the Boy Who Cried Wolf and Borrowing Your Enemy's Arrows using straw boats to collect (well in this case, use up) the enemies arrows.

Similar to what happened with drones, licensing and regulation will surely follow.

I am a “Science Guy,” so I support private citizen’s developing balloons for fun and backyard science; but even so, when they fly at airliner cruising altitudes, some regulations seems a prudent and reasonable idea. Of course, those regs will rapidly become suffocating and a serious drag — but that’s what regs always seem to do.

Still, hitting a slow-moving two-pound payload at 600 miles an hour would be devastating.

I think it was stupid of that group — IF it’s even true — to deliberately fly at those altitudes.

Win stupid prizes...

The object over Lake Huron was at 20,000 ft. and the Alaska objects were at 40,000’ according to one report (from Kirby). Can’t an A-10 can fly to 45,000’?

So when a Sidewinder misses it’s mid-air target, does it disarm itself before it hits the ground and just cause a hole in the ground, or could it cause more damage when it hits?

Well, in that case, I’ll use an F-89 from the Smithsonian for the next shoot down.

I believe they self destruct by detonating the warhead. The booster portion of it is left as a big chunk.

So the Biden administration started covering for Chinese spy balloons as soon as they got into office?
