I’ll pass on that.

Another disappointment I have seen lately involves aftermarket replacement jeep leaf springs.

My dad bought the overhaul kit that is essentially the stock suspension.

He swapped everything over. One of several he has done over the years.

A few days later, the rear driver’s side spring essentially lost its strength and the jeep sits kind of lopsided.

I was looking at buying the same kit for mine.

As much as I wouldn’t want to add any suspension lift, there is a Rugged Ridge kit out there and another crowd that sells what looks like OEM type springs as well.

First problem: Jeep. :P

No, seriously, Jeep owners will buy some of the jankiest products out there for some reason and the aftermarket parts makers know this. That said, the stock suspension height parts are worse than usual because everyone knows that Jeep owners will almost always want to lift their rig. Who made the ‘overhaul kit?’ Some are better than others.
