Russia has already 'lost' the war in Ukraine as the one-year anniversary of its brutal invasion approaches, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Mark Milley said in Brussels Tuesday.

Milley spoke amid warnings of a renewed Russian offensive, with allies seeking to rush modern weapons and ammunition to Ukrainian forces – who have been battling Russian forces who have been slowly gaining ground around Bakhmut in the eastern Donbas region.

'Russia is now a global pariah and the world remains inspired by Ukrainian bravery and resilience. In short, Russia has lost — they've lost strategically, operationally, and tactically,' said Milley.

Germans pledged to act in good faith. They sure did. After they were threatened with the war restarting and the blockade was still being enforced.

My point in posting that is to remind those who cheer a humiliated and defeated Russia that time doesn't just stop. When the Germans were confronted with a peace they found unacceptable, they returned to a more ferocious war just two decades later.

While it is necessary to end the war in Ukraine, it's important to end it in a way that enables Russia to return to the world. Forgetting the past dooms us to repeat it. So it was once said.

Go back to 2009 and look at how this all began from the Obama Hut.

Let’s see I had finished a tour in Israel working in the IPC in the AmEmb Tel Aviv, another tour in IPC AmCons Hong Hong, and had just started a tour in American Embassy Georgetown (Armpit of the earth officially) and had been following the messaage traffic;)

Seriously though, I had just finished 30 years with US Army and was off to the Department of State where I was shocked at what was happening to American diplomacy. It was literally upended. All the folks who had guided American thru the Cold War were in the CIA and they were busy forcing America’s hand. Obama’s crew bought into the idea that we could bring the Russian Landmass into Western hands and destroy Russia. All the promises of 1991 when the USSR broke up were being broken by us (US). NATO was absorbing countries American gave promises to leave neutral being brought into the EU, but into NATO was yet another broken promise.

The Ukraine was Russia’s boarder Nation Red Line. That Red Line is not like Obama’s broken Red Lines. Russia has never waivered on Ukrainian neutrality. Just as the United States has its Monroe Doctrine and will never allow armies or missiles capable of hitting US Cities, Russia told Washington over and over.

Washington and Germany’s leader who now says they tricked the Russians with the Minsk II Ageements that the West never intended to honor - the Ukraine was essentially understood to be covered under this Minsk agreement. However, Russia began to suspect that NATO Officers were actively working in Newly Built Command and Control Centers (staffed by over 60 French officers, and dozens of US Officers, dozens of Brits, and a sprinkling of Polish.

From these CC Centers NATO directed the largest peacetime buildup of military forces in history between 2009 and 2014, creating a new Ukrainian army of over 800,000 trained military, a majority of which were Reserve/National Guard types in US comparisons. NATO embarked in building defensive fortifications throughout Ukraine and arming the Ukraine with NATO weapons integrating them alongside the old USSR ear weapons systems.

By the time Russia figured out American intensions, largely through the efforts of Wekileaks, Snowden and others, Russia told the West an NATO they would never waiver on that Red Line.

Diplomats are indistinguishable from their Sister Agency personnel. In fact the United States has put CIA officers into a third of the Ambassadorships alone - the CIA Lies For A Living. Even among the Foreign Service they are not accepted in IPC by IRM, but that’s another story for another time.

You probably have some inkling of the diplomacy from newspapers since 2010 or so and I am assuming you are the expert and supporting Ukraine in good faith.

America is not the good guys in this. We are no longer the good guys in the world. We push the LGBT stuff harder than we sell weapons or commercial aircraft.

The United States is now a tool of the NWO. The NWO serves the NEOCONs desires and pockets, just as the NWO serves the interests of the Democrat Party. In order that the NWO come into existance, the United States must be broken up, disarmed as a threat to any global forces, yet the US is used as the stick to achieve NWO goals at THIS same time.

We are living in the final few years of a United States at the helm of the West. America and Europen must be joined and Americans must reduce their standard of living to that of the EU, which sucks by the way. If you disagree imagine that you can not afford, nor will there be lots of places to eat out - that industry will evaporate to 5/100ths of the current US availability - but you won’t be able to afford it either except for special occasions. Ah, the charms of socialism;)

America has pursued under Obama (remember Biden as point man in Ukraine as Vice President stopping the Investigation of Hunter Biden’s business dealings) and at a lesser rate under Trump, but then balls to the walls under Biden to destroy Russia’s hold on her terroritories to the east of Moscow to the Pacific. The GREEN agenda demands that in order to be fully implemented that nobody have access to cheap natural energy. Biden shut down American pipelines being built, shut down the oil industry on his first day in office. Biden blew up NORDSTREAM I and II. GREEN is being pushed hard. Remember Obama saying 15 years ago gas in yesterday’s dollars had to be $8-9 so GREEN could be feasible in the marketplace. The US Govt in putting it’s Thumb down hard choosing winners and losers in the marketplace of product development/sales and information/free press.

The US Govt has since 2020 had to sell so many lies that it is now impossible to tell the truth about anything. Biden is fighting for his presidencies’ life with Hunter, 5 places Classified Info, NORTDTREAM, and now the train derailment in Ohio. Our govt is no incapable of telling the truth.

“NATO was absorbing countries American gave promises to leave neutral”

And the name of this treaty that was ratified by a unanimous vote of the NATO council is...?

“Ike beat the Nazi’s and his 1/10th of the ribbons Milley has.”

This is only because Milley has fought more campaigns that Ike did.

Milley has been recognized for his courage in the 1998 Battle of the Buffet Line in which he bravely muscled several much larger men for a fourth helping of meatloaf.

Milley further distinguished himself during the 2004 Raid on Dunkin’ Donuts in which a lemon filled donut was thrown directly at his head causing powdered sugar to get in his eye.

In 2012 Milley suffered burns during the Mongolian BBQ campaign where hot Szechuan oil got on his hands when he grabbed for his dinner.

And don’t even get me started on his exploits conquering the distilleries of the Speyside River!

No, the lesson is to either bring the Russians to heel like we did with both Japan and Germany or to break up their empire to prevent them from going on the warpath again.

But letting them destroy a country and expecting the world to let them go right back to status quo antebellum?

No.

The world is quite different than it was in 1945. We are in the nuclear age, and I doubt the Progressives or Conservatives have the appetite for a Marshall Plan for Russia.

We have seen the more recent examples of Afghanistan and Iraq that our nation rebuilding days are behind us.

Bringing Russia to heel has been unsuccessful since the Mongols were defeated.

Yes I got it, but there are nuts on this forum advocating exactly that, ranting about destroying Russia and leaving a rump Russian state.
