I wouldn’t get too worked up about what she says. The speech sounds like a standard politician speech, which tells you everything you need to know about her. She’s going nowhere, even if she takes digs at Trump by calling him a “faded politician of the past.” That is not an attention-grabbing insult. Its a boring, professional speechwriter insult.

Yes, she might look a bit "faded" for a (cough, cough) 20 something if she were from the current century, eh?

I didn't watch the speech, but Haley is a pretty good speaker. Her problems are that she's been on too many sides of issues with no identifiable center and that she's too pushy (almost Hillarianly), recalling that she might have tried to shove Pence from the 2020 Veep ticket.

That aside, I'm curious who advises her. Name calling ("faded names") says more about her than her elders. Again, way too pushy.
