Any day now, Ukraine will be marching on the Kremlin. Any day now...

Sarcasm is an indication of where your loyalty or preferences lie.

But, there is another headline in FR where Russia is winning little by little. You should warm your heart.

Why is it so hard for you and the other Russian fans on FR to admit that the Russians have encountered reversals in their war? This is a war that almost everyone, including pro-Ukrainian observers, thought was going to be over in one week, yet a year later the Ukrainians are still holding on.

I find it amazing how we are a group, in general, didn’t believe the media when it came to the covid hoax. But now, all of a sudden, they’re completely trustworthy when it comes to Russia/Ukraine. Why is that? Are some of us so burnt out that the programming has taken hold again? Why do any of us believe anything the media says now?

and last spring, the elite Russian paratrooper unit was wiped out during the failed encirclement of Kiev

Ukrainians seem pretty good at defending themselves ... but Russia won’t learn, they insist on always running into the buzzsaw over and over ...

what the Einstein quote about the definition of insanity?

The problem for the Russians is they haven’t figured out how to advance.

They have three problems:

1) Rivers - The Oskil in the north and the Dnieper in the south. Russian armor has been obliterated each time it has tried to cross a river. Crossings can’t be hidden and they get wiped out by artillery and drones. Ukraine’s mainly infantry based army has had more success getting across water.

2) Open steppe - The area in the south like Vuhledar has similar issues that everyone can see you when you step out of cover. Ukraine fought forward in terrain like this in the Kherson offensive, but at high cost.

3) Cities - Russia’s main success has come in urban warfare. They can advance under cover. Loses are high, but in Izyum, Mariupol, and Bakhmut griding progress has been acheivable. Problem is it takes months to take even a small town.

An elite Russian naval infantry unit made up of mostly mobilized troops...

It's always entertaining when the first sentence in an article is an apparent oxymoron...

This is a very important war. Where are all the war correspondents, news teams, reporters on the ground with up to the minute breaking news?

Preferences and loyalties are two very different things. I prefer Tide over All but I buy whichever is cheaper. I am loyal to my barber so I won’t have anyone else cut my hair. I prefer blonde women but I am loyal to my wife who is a brunette. As far as Russia vs Ukraine, I have no loyalty to either side and of course I prefer that they would not be at war with or invading or killing each other However I would also prefer that we as Americans would not be involved either way especially in a financial sense. The people in the neighboring countries are much more qualified to assist by virtue of proximity.

I don’t think people have putin loyalties...just disgust at the non-stop psyops. By the media’s acct ukraine hasn’t lost any soldiers at all. At least I haven’t seen any reports of such.

So much propaganda who knows what to believe.

The only thing I know as fact is that we are spending tens of billions of dollars on this proxy war that has no end in sight. Inflation is rising and the markets are stagnant so retirement is out of the question. Add to that the lack of focus on Social Security and Medicare and I imagine Biden will need to introduce assisted suicide as a national policy.

And now for your daily dose of Ukrainian propaganda. I hope Ukrainians lose and loose hard.

The Ukrainians were key players in the coup against President Trump. The first impeachment was driven by President Trump's call to Zelensky and Ukrainian-born "whistle-blower" Col. Vindman was the impetus. Col. Vindman was offered the high position of Defense Minister of Ukraine twice by the Ukraine - why?. The coup against President Trump led us into the Ukraine War and the death of hundreds of thousands of people and the impoverishment of America. We are led by traitors and snakes.

Vindman, 44, explained during his impeachment testimony that he had been offered the position three times but declined the position because of his loyalty to the United States. The lieutenant colonel was born in Ukraine, but his family immigrated to the U.S. when he was a toddler.

Vindman claimed he did not know why he was offered the high ranking position of defense minister.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/vindman-reveals-that-he-had-been-offered-a-position-as-defense-minister-of-ukraine

And, amazingly, after President Trump was only out of office a little over a year we were at war with Russia at the behest of the Ukraine.

There’s no evidence Einstein ever said that. But we already know you believe and spread disinformation. Sucks to be you.

I see that you have a Gulag plan for everyone who doesn't agree with you. Neocons are nothing but crypto communists.
