EAST LANSING, Mich. — Three people are dead and five people were injured in shootings at Michigan State University on Monday night.
Of the five people injured, police said some of them have life-threatening injuries.
Advertisement University police said the suspect was found dead off campus after midnight.
"It appears he has died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound," a tweet from police said. "There is no longer a threat to campus and the shelter-in-place has been lifted."
The shootings began shortly before 8:30 p.m. at Berkey Hall, an academic building, and also occurred nearby at the student union, a popular gathering spot, said Chris Rozman, interim deputy chief of the campus police department.
Students were ordered to shelter in place for hours.

I to my niece, who lives near the MSU campus. She says they’re fine, but they could hear the helicopters over their house.
MSU’s campus is locked down for at least 48 hours and everything in East Lansing is shut down tomorrow. I think she said neighboring Okemos was too.
I’m sure it was a gun free zone.
Here is the only relevant question: was the shooter white?

Police described the shooter as a short Black male. There are photos of him from cameras on campus.
I hope that everything comes out about him, his background, motive, everything. Total transparency.

No that isn't possible. Everyone knows that criminals will never carry a firearm into a gun free zone. Just ask any Democrat.
The Deputy Chief of the campus police seems to be pretty straightforward with information. A lot of bigwigs could take a lesson from him.
Will see if that continues.
White shooter = “Hate crime, insurrectionists, Trump”
Non-white shooter = “Gun crime. More gun laws needed”

No idea of motive.

No update other than all 5 are in critical condition..... it sounds like they were having classes in the first building and the second building was also open and occupied - no dorm halls were involved.

Here lately, murder seems to happen as ‘payback’ way out of proportion for the so called offense.
His hands in photos did not appear to be ‘white’.
