A report published at the end of 2022 by The ETC Group reveals how a handful of corporations with the help of Big Tech are taking over the world’s food supply.
The report, titled ‘Food Barons 2022 – Crisis Profiteering, Digitalization and Shifting Power’, offers a snapshot of the world’s “Food Barons” – the biggest players up and down the industrial food and agriculture chain. It examines the leading corporations that control each of 11 key industrial agrifood sectors: seeds, agrochemicals, livestock genetics, synthetic fertilizers, farm machinery, animal pharmaceuticals, commodity traders, food processors, Big Meat, grocery retail and food delivery.
The findings show that many agrifood sectors are now so “top-heavy” they are controlled by just four to six dominant firms, enabling these companies to wield enormous influence over markets, agricultural research and policy development, which undermines food sovereignty.
Unfortunately, the report pays lip service to the World Economic Forum/United Nations’ false climate change narrative and it also favours racial justice. What exactly is meant by “racial justice” is unclear. If it is a show of solidarity with the “social justice warriors” of the neo-Marxist Critical Race Theory – the dominant ideology behind the Black Lives Matter social movement – this is again unfortunate.

I’m working with a local farm that does a Community Supported Agriculture. So during the growing season, we’ll go by there every other week and get a box of goodies.
Also working on doing some electrical upgrades so I can get a freezer and buy half a beef from a local ranchers.
I have an Agri-Business degree and have worked in the industry for 45 years.
Someone need to give the authoress a clue as a “handful of corporations” have been in “control” for as long as I can remember, the names may have changed but the corp. demographics are similar.
Back in the day Monsanto started it all!!
Well guess what. I trust agribusiness more than i do the government.
If you eat sh** food, corporate branded packaged food, fast food, never buy from local farmers, and never cook from scratch for yourself or your family - then yes, I suppose much of your diet resides in the large corporate supply chain.
if not, then they have little control over you.

Were they are legal to have.
Our local farmers markets usually have one farmer tent, the rest are selling supplements, t-shits, and pizza. All changed since covid.

Seed catalogs have been arriving daily in the mail. This is probably preaching to the choir, but no time like the present to start gardening if you haven’t already.
The left’s idea of *justice” means someone else gets what we have or grew.
It is naive to thing that both are not controlled by the same few people.
Just make sure you have a shotgun to protect your garden.
I grow MY own fruit in MY orchard, graze MY own steer on MY pasture area, raise MY own chickens for meat and eggs, grow MY own vegetables and load MY own ammunition.
I think the Wife and I are in pretty good shape!
