Not a Dem. Kari Lake was a Republican until 2006 when she changed to independent. Then she registed as a Dem in 2008 (operation chaos.) Then back to Republican after 2012.
In 2008 John McCain won the primary early. But in the Dem primary Hillary was still hanging on. So Republicans switched Parties to vote for Hillary in the primary. It ws called Operation Chaos. Doesn’t mean we were Dems.
Also, the Republicans had a lot of problems at that time and it turns out the real hard-core were not fans of GW Bush and Karl Rove.
