Those with a rudimentary understanding of physics know that these devices are not from “outer space”.

However, if you get your science education from the movies, then, of course, this is entirely possible.

"Outer space"?

Is that where aliens are supposed to come from?

Only in the movies.

The operative theory nowadays is that they--if they are even real--are extradimensional.

Those with an advanced understanding of “ physics” - like pilots - also know when they experience an encounter with an object that defies every known technology

This happened to my father, a fighter pilot over Korea in the war encountering a UFO

He never reported it. At that time the consequences to a pilot of reporting what could not be explained …were “problematic”

“Those with a rudimentary understanding of physics know that these devices are not from “outer space”.”

You evidently don’t have a rudimentary understanding of Alcubierre drive or related topics in advanced physics.

Not saying these particular objects utilized any kind of advanced propulsion, or “warping of space”, maybe just prevailing winds from China, but someday.... In either direction...
