Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., argued Sunday that the downed Chinese spy balloon carrying sensors and surveillance equipment last weekend off the coast of South Carolina was an embarrassment and a "real setback" for the Communist country, even though the U.S. military has shot down two more unidentified aircraft in recent days.
During an appearance on ABC’s "This Week," Schumer said he was confident with the Biden administration’s response to the Chinese spy flight program, which first came into focus when the U.S. military downed a surveillance balloon over the Atlantic Ocean after allowing it to drift over the continental U.S. for seven days.
"Look, I think the Chinese were humiliated," he said. "I think the Chinese were caught lying, and I think it's a real it's a real setback for them."

So why do they keep sending more? Another one made it past Montana yesterday and was shot down over Lake Huron today. Who knows how many more have gone over the U.S. since Biden has been in office.
The Biden Administration seems to have better luck finding balloons that supposedly passed over the U.S. two or more years ago, back when Trump was President. Amazing technology that can see into the past but not the present.
Could it be that one of the biggest things they are spying on is our response capability? Detonating a nuke in a balloon flying at 20,000 feet could cause a lot of damage with the resulting EMP.

As far as Schumer’s claim that we humiliated China, how can our detection of a huge, slow moving easily seen balloon be humiliating.

I’ve noticed that Chuck-U believes the balloon incident(s) have “humiliated” everyone except for the one who have been humiliated.
