Fighter jets were scrambled and Montana's airspace closed due to a 'radar anomaly', officials said on Saturday night - admitting that nothing suspicious was detected by the planes.

NORAD, the North American Aerospace Defense Command, issued a statement hours at 9:30pm on Saturday night - an hour after Montana congressman Matt Rosendale said jets were responding to an 'airborne object' spotted above his state.

NORAD said they 'detected a radar anomaly and sent fighter aircraft to investigate.'

How long will it be till they shoot down a commercial aircraft, saying they don’t know what it was?

I think new F15EX has the most powerful radar in our fighter aircraft APG-82. We need to get these new aircraft into Alaska & Montana to help and upgrade our ground and airborne radar system because clearly there’s a gap.

Almost as if something is being faked or planned to make chomo Joe seem like a guy tough enough to whoop Corn Pop and his boss, Xi.

The Daily is a great source for information that casts America in a bad light. If there is some kind of police atrocity or a violent crime in your nearest metro area, they will be right on it with accurate details and credible sources, while American media companies will usually ignore such stories.

It is what they do. It is what their sponsors tell them to do.

They won't touch pictures of a balloon shootdown because that might look favorable to the American military forces.

In any event, the government has not finished generating pictures of those "airborne objects", so there is nothing to see yet. They have got have something that looks suitably extra-terrestrial. Balloons are too boring.

Watch the other hand of the magician. In fact, watch the entire stage crew. The balloon stories are a great distraction from the Hunter Biden corruption scandal, the release of the Epstein flight logs, and the recent assassinations of two Republican councilmen in New Jersey.

Lots of nasty things moving around in the background.

It’s funny how in the 80s and 90s the thought was the govt. knew of alien UFOs but didn’t want to disclose the truth for fear of the civilians in a mad panic. Now it seems like a 18 and they want to fake that we are dealing with possible aliens and they WANT us in a mad panic.

Now it seems like ... we are dealing with possible aliens and they WANT us in a mad panic.

I am sure they do want us in a mad panic. Anything to keep ups from focusing on what they truly are and what they want.

The John Carpenter movie "They Live" provides a useful metaphor.

Now, where is that box of Hoffman lenses?

Noting that I was very young at the time. I loved ‘Plan nine from outer space’. It was just so weird. A mix of sci-fi and horror. I was oblivious to the horrible acting and worse directing. Later as an adult I couldn’t remember the name of it and didn’t realize the infamous ‘worst movie of all time’ was the same one until I saw a documentary on HBO.

Although it got that Worst Award it is by no means the worst movie. “Reds” or “The English Patient” are worse. “Plan9” is endlessly entertaining and not a drawn out boring mess. Maybe unintentionally funny but funny nonetheless.

You want bad try the French award winner “L’Humanite”.
