wouldn’t it be nice, if instead of being at war with Russia, we could have been partners and friends - and not have forced them into an alliance with China.
All the obvious warnings about not putting Russia & China into an alliance against us were ignored. Thanks to the NeoCons (who have followers here). It so unnecessary.
The US is certain to pay a heavy price for this in the decades to come.

that ultimately lead to 15 to 20 million people dying in a famine. The Cultural Revolution was a state sponsored eradication of traditional Chinese culture, ideas, customs and habits that took place from 1966
to 1976 and resulted in the destruction of temples and schools as well as the murder of over 3 million
people who were deemed a threat to the revolution.
