So, if you cover 80 ground miles while flying into a 20 MPH wind, and your airspeed is 100 MPH.ONLY if it takes you an HOUR to cover the 80 miles.
If you cover it in 1/2 hour your airspeed is... 150?

EXACTLY! 100 MPH into a 20 MPH headwind covers 80 miles. The MPH was, I thought, self-explanatory for my very basic explanation. Miles = miles; Per is self-evident; Hour = hour.
