The article ( unlikely to be acknowledged by Biden’s misguided war cheerleaders)::

“On February 16, 2022, a full week before Putin sent combat troops into Ukraine, the Ukrainian Army began the heavy bombardment of the area (in east Ukraine) occupied by mainly ethnic Russians. Officials from the Observer Mission of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) were located in the vicinity at the time and kept a record of the shelling as it took place. What the OSCE discovered was that the bombardment dramatically intensified as the week went on until it reached a peak on February 19, when a total of 2,026 artillery strikes were recorded. Keep in mind, the Ukrainian Army was, in fact, shelling civilian areas along the Line of Contact that were occupied by other Ukrainians.

We want to emphasize that the officials from the OSCE were operating in their professional capacity gathering first-hand evidence of shelling in the area. What their data shows is that Ukrainian Forces were bombing and killing their own people. This has all been documented and has not been challenged.

So, the question we must all ask ourselves is this: Is the bombardment and slaughter of one’s own people an ‘act of war’?

We think it is. And if we are right, then we must logically assume that the war began before the Russian invasion (which was launched a full week later) We must also assume that Russia’s alleged “unprovoked aggression” was not unprovoked at all but was the appropriate humanitarian response to the deliberate killing of civilians. In order to argue that the Russian invasion was ‘not provoked’, we would have to say that firing over 4,000 artillery shells into towns and neighborhoods where women and children live, is not a provocation? Who will defend that point of view?

No one, because it’s absurd. The killing of civilians in the Donbas was a clear provocation, a provocation that was aimed at goading Russia into a war. And –as we said earlier– the OSCE had monitors on the ground who provided full documentation of the shelling as it took place, which is as close to ironclad, eyewitness testimony as you’re going to get.

This, of course, is a major break with the “official narrative” which identifies Russia as the perpetrator of hostilities. But, as we’ve shown, that simply isn’t the case. The official narrative is wrong.…”

————-
Of course Biden’s narrative is wrong, invented by the same Democrats that created the Russian Derangement Syndrome . History will show the Ukies as aggressors, and the corrupted collective West even worse.

The Ukraine ceased to exist as a sovereign country after the violent 2014 obama supported coup. It has been a proxy state ever since and massive money pot for corrupt politicians and their children....to include Biden, Pelosi and Romney sons.

The US had been deliberately provoking Ukraine to attack Russia for many years.

We can ask Lindsay why he and McCain(and other neocon and neolibs) are on video goading Ukes to attack Russia?

Same people were doing meet and greets with ISIS leaders.

Disgusting

Excellent: the article leaves out so many salient points that it can only be considered a relatively recent iteration of ongoing Russian propaganda.

If you had bothered to read the article before you posted it, you would have found that the Ukrainian Army was in fact shelling Ukrainian women and children (its own people) a week before Russia became involved. The article’s author asks rhetorically if the Ukrainian Army’s actions could be considered an “act of war” and concludes “it is”. So Russia’s response was a humanitarian one, attempting to stop Ukraine’s military from attacking its own people. Russia’s attack on Ukraine’s military was NOT unprovoked, contrary to the allegations made against it by the U.S. government.

There is some truth on both sides

My experience is the separatist side has more veracity

I don’t trust and haven’t for decades western media

It’s simply a means to control us

Musk damaged that immeasurably

Wish that would domino

Is there any post out there that, without bias explains out there what started this and why?

As for Russia, you can’t line up of thousands of troops and tanks on the border of an independent sovereign country without the country reacting.

On the other hand, the US/Obama 2014 took out the pro-Russia prez and put in a successful comic/entrepreneur, Zelenskyy.

Zelenskyy, has been fairly effective defending his country but he dumped all the political parities period. So basically he’s a dictator now.

He’s very good bringing in world support as an independent nation deserves.

Other hand. Ukraine had 30-40 biowarfare labs, which if you follow, the covid thing, you’d see that strangely Peru has the most deaths from covid per million followed by the USA, with the most advanced medical system in the world but then followed by Eastern slavic countries which might have caught Putin’s attention.

Uke vs. Russia threads leave me with nothing. One side hammering the other. Just like pro-vaxx vs. anti vax.

Anybody want to clear this up?

Just posting and then I’ll ping some pro/anti Uke fans.

The weirdest part is one cannot tell what’s really true, just who has the biggest megaphone/press.

Sigh.

We all should have listened to Pat Buchanan a long time ago.
