I wish Trump would remember that there is no need for him to respond to every insignificant child who criticizes him. It looks small-minded.

But, that's Trump, so I guess we had better get used to it.

It is worth noting that Churchill was always under attack from every angle. His response was, we've got bigger problems to deal with, why waste time on empty chatter? (I paraphrase). When you ignore people who criticize you, you deny them attention...and, eventually, other people begin to ignore them. But when you respond to everyone who slurs your name, you encourage them.

If you were aware of the amount of vitriol that Trump receives daily on the internet, news media, and damn near every other platform known to mankind, you would recognize how silly it is to accuse Trump of responding "to every insignificant child who criticizes him". He most certainly does not.

But Rihanna is a celebrity with a fair amount of influence and Trump understands the implications of allowing such public attacks to go unchallenged.

Trump, flawed as he may be, is valued for the same reason Lincoln valued a drunken General Grant.

Hyperbole much? If he actually did that there aren’t enough hours in his day. He is criticized 24/7 (not hyperbole) by all the MSM, Hollywood, and general assholes.

This Rihanna person (I have no clue who she is) apparently is someone who has a influence and popularity. He picks his battles.

Just where do you keep your head? You can’t extrapolate the niceties of polite convention to the world stage of demented power politics. She was probably chosen by the jackals just so her rants against Trump could be beamed around the world as a snicker over and over.
