Nikki Haley announces she will hold two town hall events in New Hampshire next week

MANCHESTER, N.H. — Nikki Haley is coming to New Hampshire next week after her anticipated announcement of a presidential run in 2024.
Haley will hold town hall events on Thursday at Exeter Town Hall in Exeter and Friday at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at St. Anselm College in Manchester.
A former South Carolina governor and U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Haley was expected to announce her run for president next week before making the trip to the Granite State.
Her entry into the race sets up a challenge for the Republican nomination with former President Donald Trump. New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu has said he's also considering a run for president.

Why are these called “Town Hall” events? They are political posturing events. Are town council members showing up to bounce ideas off of the visiting politician? Don’t think so.
