Saw him in concert during the Purple Rain tour when a friend asked me to go.
I wasn’t a huge Prince fan at the time. Rock. punk, and heavy metal were more my style.
He gave it everything he, 100%. It was an outstanding show and he was a very talented musician.
Tom Petty, Steve Winwood, and Prince played “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Best version of the song I ever heard and a personal favorite. His guitar solo was spot on.

This story reminds me of why I no longer eat at Waffle House restuarants in my local metro area and when I do go to Waffle House, which is a lot less than in the past, I usually go on a weekend and drive out into the country in one of two rural counties east of where I live because the employees out there are almost always white and atleast act like they care about their jobs.
I started noticing about 12 years ago or so the number of black employees increasing slowly but surely inside the metro area of the city I live and the quality of service declined proportionately as well.
One of the few and proud.
Every time I tell somebody that Luis Miguel is Hispanic, the response is “that white dude?”.
