Putting DeSantis in as Veep will assure him of the 2028 nomination with no difficulties. Imagine 12 years of Trump and DeSantis - the Dems would melt down, and the country would actually have a shot at surviving in a form recognizable to us in the long term.

AP had a very long and glowing story about DeSantis the other day too. I don’t know. It seems obvious what is going on.

He (Trump) has already said that he won’t (endorse DeSantis) any longer as he has found out some things about him.

Just like many of us, and probably DeSantis, now feel about Trump.

For example, I just found out yesterday that Walt Disney Corp was in the top 5 donor list for Trump, in both 2016, and 2020.

Were you aware of that? Maybe DeSantis was. And maybe that explains the gay parties going on at Mar-a-Lago, which many of us just found out about and don't agree with, either.

As far as I can see, the Repuke Party is already destroyed. There are a few conservatives left such as Rand, MTG and DeSantis, but that’s not enough.

I hope he does. The republican party is fake. We have tried to reform it so that it actually represents the voters but to no avail.

So ABC is now backing Trump?
Nope, they are trying to keep the fight going.

If that happens the people in FL can only vote for one. Not both

Bingo! DeSantis is OK and done a good job as Governor of FL. Jeb Bush was a good governor of FL. Presidential material not so much.

DeSantis basically graduated from law school and pretty much worked for the government his entire career. He’s never run a business. He doesn’t know the heads of state of our allies and enemies. No experience in high finance but he thinks he’s ready to be President and apparently willing to get on the globalist money train to get there. Trump is sidelining that right at the get go.

Are you suggesting that the Bushes and Obama and Clinton were anymore qualified than DeSantis?

She was the White House Director of Strategic Communications and Assistant to the President in 2020 during the presidency of Trump.

I think I suggested that Ron DeSantis is not ready to be President and has fallen in with a bad crowd. Does that clarify things?

Just to be clear there is no other person in the country except Donald J. Trump who is capable of leading this country and possibly the world out of the satanic mess we are in.

Yeah, but the last time America had a real third party candidate, we ended up with Bubba Clinton. And that thing he married.

It won’t be Trump that does him in, it will be the leftists who will turn on him once Trump is safely out of the way.

Right now I’m still neutral between DeSantis and Trump, but my question is, why couldn’t Trump do it the first time, and what do you think will change that would make him any more successful the second time around?

Bush lost that election on his own.

Sorry but DeSantis is no replacement for Trump.

Yeah, DeSantis knows how to get re-elected.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
No and no. Right after Bush won the Gulf War in ‘91 he had the highest ever approval rating of any president: 90%.
Yeah, that “No New Taxes” remark hurt, but it was H. Ross siphoning off conservative votes that gave Bubba the victory.
