My list……..1) Drug/human smuggling, 2) any murder committed while engaged in gang related activity, 3) taking bribes- influence peddling or egregious corruption while holding political office, 4) facilitating or organizing vote fraud.

I advocate the death penalty for 3 & 4 because while they are non violent and usually don’t result in the deaths of innocent people, they are such serious crimes against the fabric of the country and are committed against the population as a whole.

The argument against the DP for rape/molestation is that it gives the criminal an incentive to kill his victim. Of course that’s the *only* argument that can be made against it.
