The National Guard of Ukraine brought down the Mi-24 attack helicopter with the Igla-1 surface-to air missile system in Bakhmut
“The National Guard of Ukraine detected 2 Mi-24 attack helicopters, one of them was shot down by the operator of the Igla-1 surface-to-air missile system on the eastern outskirts of Bakhmut at 14:12, February 7,” said the head of the 3rd Operational Brigade with the call sign “Partizan”.

According to the National Guard of Ukraine, the helicopter had been firing units and covering russian infantry advancing on Ukrainian positions. After it was shot down, the helicopter started to lose altitude and fell. The status of the pilot is unknown.
It should be noted that the Mi-24 aircraft is one of the fastest attack helicopters and 3rd russian helicopter shot down by the 3rd Operational Brigade over the last 11 months.
It should be recalled that the Ukrainian border guards brought down the Su-25 attack aircraft and an UAV in the sky over Bakhmut on February 7.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, russians have lost hundreds of their artillery systems of all kinds
The press-service of the 45th separate artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine showed how Ukraine’s military effectively destroy russia’s equipment nearby Soledar: the video recorded the destruction of a russian self-propelled artillery gun (probably the 2S1 Gvozdika), as well as the D-20 howitzer.
Overall, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, russia has lost more than 2,200 artillery systems.
Oryx collects photos and videos of the destroyed or damaged equipment, it is possible to determine which systems the occupiers lost the most.
So, in the category of barrel towed howitzers the following systems were spot destroyed/lost (here and below they are arranged in descending order):
75 units of the Msta-B 152-mm howitzers 2A65, of which 32 are trophies;
39 units of the D-30 122-mm howitzers, of which 32 are trophies;
13 units of the Giatsynt 152-mm 2A36 towed howitzers, of which 8 are trophies;
11 units of the Nona-K 120-mm 2B16 artillery systems, of which 9 are trophies;
9 units of the MT-12 anti-tank guns, of which 7 are trophy guns;
8 units of the D-20 152-mm howitzers, of which 2 are trophies;
5 units of the Vasiliok 82-mm 2B9 automatic mortars, of which 4 are trophies;
4 unidentified systems.
In the category of self-propelled guns, the losses of the russian occupying forces are as follows:
99 units of the Msta-S 152-mm 2S19 self-propelled guns, of which 33 are trophies;
98 units of the Akatsiya 152-mm 2S3(M) self-propelled guns, of which 31 are trophies;
44 units of the Gvozdika 122-mm 2S1 self-propelled guns, of which 8 are trophies;
25 units of the Msta-SM2 152-mm 2C33 SPGs, of which 6 are trophies;
22 units of the Nona 120-mm 2S9 artillery systems, of which 5 are trophies;
20 units of the Giatsynt 152-mm 2S5 self-propelled guns, of which 6 are trophies;
9 unidentified systems;
6 units of the Malka 203-mm 2S7M self-propelled guns of which 1 is a trophy;
4 units of the Tiulpan 240-mm 2S4 self-propelled mortars;
4 units of the Nona-SVK 120-mm 2S23, of which 2 are trophies;
2 units of the Hosta 120-mm 2S34, of which 2 are trophies.
In the MLRS category, the losses are as follows:
101 units of the BM-21 Grad 122-mm MLRS, of which 36 are trophies;
47 units of the BM-27 Uragan 220-mm MLRS, of which 6 are trophies;
13 units of the 2B17 Tornado-G 122-mm MLRS, 8 of them are trophies
5 units of the TOS-1A 220-mm heavy flamethrower systems, of which 4 are trophies;
3 units of the 9P138 Grad-1 122-mm MLRS;
2 unidentified systems;
1 unit of the BM-30 Smerch 300-mm MLRS.

Serhii the tank gunner of the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade tank battalion told about one of these vehicles in an interview with ArmyInform: the occupiers left their T-72B3 in one of the forest lanes: the commander ran away, the driver-mechanic was KIA, and the gunner was captured. The tank was quite new (manufactured in 2019) and almost fully loaded. 
However, later the Kozak armored vehicle was damaged and could not continue moving on its own, so it was towed away by a trophy tank. As Serhii notes, this trophy T-72B3 still helps them beat the invaders. Defense Express reminds that russia began to produce the T-72B3 model 2022, which has a much simpler fire control system, including a night sight that is worse than the Sosna-U, but with reinforced armor. The Kozak armored vehicle dropped off the fighters nearby the tank. There they discovered that the driver-mechanic could not get into the tank due to the jammed turret. Eventually, Serhii managed to solve the problem. After starting the engine on the third attempt, Ukraine’s fighters set off. After some time, the fighters felt a strong explosion - the tank ran over an anti-tank mine that pierced the bottom of the armored vehicle: luckily, the ammunition did not detonate and there was no fire. However, the mine damaged the tracks, and the engine stopped. In the end, under enemy mortar shelling, the fighters continued to move, when were able to start the T-72B3 engine again.

Not original comment, but read this thoughtful comment & thought I would share:
Prigozhin seems to be under the impression ( probably like most Russian Senior Officers) that if they force the Ukrainians to mass forces, even on the Defense, they can destroy them with supporting arms in the positions they are holding, assembly areas and while exposed enroute.
They have greatly overestimated the capabilities of their Artillery and Air assets to do this.
It boils down to two things...
1- How Many Russians are you willing to get killed in order to kill one Ukrainian. And,
2-how MUCH money can you spend to kill one.
Russia has about a 3.5 to 1 advantage in Population, but that probably will not carry over to a Military advantage, as Ukraine is using many people who cant serve in the front lines to do logistical tasks.
Russia can not win if Ukrainians are inflicting Casualties at a rate of 3 or 4 to one, and they cannot keep losing equipment and expending ammunition, fuel or other supplies at such a high rate.
The Russian army has fled Bakhmut.
The Ukrainian vikings were too much for them to handle!
The only Russians fighting there now are convicted rapists and murderers that Wagner dragged out fro Russian prisons. They are dying 7 to 1 in Bakhmut - the meat grinder there is depleting Wagner. Even if the hordes of rapists finally manage to take over the tiny low priority Bakhmut it would be a pyrrhic “victory”.
Russia has become such a decadent nation, they dont even have their own army to fight their communist imperialist wars! So sad Russia is destroying itself.
