If this keeps up we’ll see Zelensky and company getting on planes with bulging suitcases full of our money.

The Ukrainians used to have a bunch of Mosin rifles in storage. Start handing them out.

This is just a careful ploy to camouflage the coming massive UAF spring offensive that is going to liberate Crimea by summer.

There’s probably a new defense line dig in about a one or two miles west of Bakhmut.

How did Russia do this with no weapons or ammunition and while losing 35 trillion troops every day?

It amazes me how many people are willing to die for one man’s ego. This is not a war to preserve your state, or protect it from outside enemies, it is a war of aggression and conquering of one state on another. There is no payback for the soldiers that die and are maimed.
In fact the only people that will win in this war are all outside of Russia. Even if the Russians obtain their goals they will have an Afghanistan like resistance forever.
And have lost the connections to the rest of the world.
If China wants to take back Siberia who will give a schiff?

So does this mean the war is almost over and no global conflagration?

Or does our ruling class have their hearts set on a global conflagration and will find a way, maybe on some other pretext?

It appears they have swung south to encircle Bakhmut.

If not supported by enough reserves that is a stupid move.

Tanks in force must be deployed to drive as far west as they can get as fast as they can move.
The flanks are vulnerable at this point and we shall see if Zelenskys bait boys will have the ability to redirect artillery at those flanks.

For some GD reason the Russians enjoy slugging it out at every point they can instead of taking full advantage of an opportunity.

Hopefully this is it, and the Ukrainians can look forward to at least a cease fire...eventually.

“Let the Globalist gnashing of teeth begin.”

Along with the teeth of all the Ukrainian cheerleaders here.

Side note: Appears there is more than an handful of FReepers that never got over the end of the Cold War and all that hate they built up from 1945 thru 1989 never subsided. They appear to relish and rejoice from the idea that thousands of Russians are dying en masse along with tens of thousands of Ukrainians.

But hey, that’s all good as long those “f***ing Russians” are dying, too. Heck, I suspect they haven’t shed a tear or give two wooden nickels about all the dead civilians either.

Pathetic and embarrassing.

Side note: Fellow FReepers, please stop using “an” instead of “a” before a consonant and follow the rule below. We are supposed to be smarter than our libtard adversaries. See below:

A vs. an
The rule is: Use “an” before a word beginning with a vowel sound (not letter). It doesn’t matter how the word is spelled. It just matters how it is pronounced. Use “a” before a word with a consonant sound as well as y and w sounds. Which means it is not unusual to find “a” before a word starting with a vowel or an before a word starting with a consonant.

So, we say “an” MBA, “an” hour … but “a” BA, “a” horologist. You say either “an” historical event or “a” historical event, according to whether you pronounce the h. If the h- is sounded (you make the “ha” sound), then a is the proper form.

You know it is a balanced article when one side is described as “valiantly”.
