He is a US politician - he will be richer than God before his term is out. Look at obozo, current POTUS, sanders, aoc and so many others.
He ran in a district the Biden won by 32%. Even in with the big Republican trend in Florida, there's still a few safe districts there where (to quote Nanzi Pelosi) the Dems could run a glass of water and win. At least his margin of victory was much less, at 19%, than Biden's was.
