“as Russian troops grind their way forward”

I’m not seeing what to my lay person eye’s would be a bold strategic movement, such as Grant splitting the Confederacy or Sherman splitting the eastern half.

It’s the N.Y. Slimes reporting. Therefore, you must look beyond what they are telling the public to see what they are not telling the public. The fact that it is negative, means that it is even more negative than they will admit.

It looks like the Russians are trying to encircle Bakhmut and the area surrounding it.

they look like the front is moving towards the big road to Nykanorivka then to Slovyansk and the other big road is going southwest and Ivan is headed towards Stupochky to cut that route off.

If those two roads are captured, then the Ukes are going to have to develop air lift capabilities and pray that they can fight their way out of that mess.

It’s not bold or beautiful..... just plodding along grinding up villages, cities, men, materials and any living thing in it’s path.... They don’t fight like we do. There culture is different than ours and they are basically doing what they always do... destroy everything and move in taking heavy casualties and rinse and repeat. They are willing to take heavy casualties in order to “win”. Win for them I believe is that they will reduce Ukraine to the level of Lebanon, Syria and destroy what stands in their way and steal everything else including the oil in the south and the port of Odessa.
