Then in your post #41 you wrote “The Lord moves in mysterious ways, and sometimes, to the observer, the motives may be too dark to grasp.” This contradicts your #17 in which you claim to know God’s motive for His alleged “smiting” of Turkey.

OT smiting combined with karma and silly platitudes about piety being rewarded. Typical New Age make-up-your-own-religion-to-please-yourself-in-the-moment type stuff.
