To: Carriage Hill

Chicken and Waffles are a Pennsylvania Dutch invention. It started in a Philadelphia restaurant with Fried Catfish and Waffles, but, as the Catfish in that area were seasonal, they started serving Chicken with the Waffles instead.

It is a QUITE delicious meal.

I live 2+hrs west of Philly, and it’s on every menu around the York-Lancaster area.
