I remember the Cuban Missile Crisis very well.
We had no real issue with the Soviet military having a presence in Cuba. What we had a problem with was the Soviets introducing offensive nuclear missile into Cuba, missiles that had the capability of striking almost the entire “lower 48” of the United States, except for a small slice in the Pacific Northwest.
There are no offensive nuclear missiles in Ukraine. There are no nuclear weapons of any kind in Ukraine.

But comparing the conflict in Ukraine to the Cuban Missile Crisis is simply illogical, because the dynamics of the two are so different.
And you guys have the gall to call us warmongers? You literally cheer and applaud and encourage Russian aggression against Ukraine, and the more Ukrainians killed excites your blood lust all the more.
I expect you have renounced your American citizenship for Russian citizenship, as your allegiance is clearly to the latter.
If the US ever fought a war with Russia, whose side would you be on? Would you fight on Russia’s side against the US?
Please provide the link that shows Boris Johnson scuttled a 2022 peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine that Russia and Ukraine had agreed to.
The map on the left is from 1990. What happened in 1991? The USSR collapsed and its former republics declared independence and its former captive satellite countries clamored to join NATO in order to prevent future Russian aggression against them. They had lived under the Russian boot, and they wanted no repeat performance. The map on the right reflects that.
Makes perfect sense.
