Dry Run: Balloons Called Top ‘Delivery Platform’ For Nuclear EMP Attack
MSN ^ | 02/03/23 | Paul Bedard

High altitude balloons, like the one China has floated over mountain state military bases this week, are considered a key “delivery platform” for secret nuclear strikes on America’s electric grid, according to intelligence officials.

Spy balloons, used by Japan to drop bombs during World War II, are now far more sophisticated, can fly at up to 200,000 feet, evade detection and carry a small nuclear bomb that if exploded in the atmosphere would shutdown the grid and wipe out electronics in a many-state-wide area.

The threat of balloon launched electromagnetic pulse attacks was warned about by a congressional EMP commission and inside the military several years ago.

In a 2015 report for the American Leadership & Policy Foundation, Air Force Maj. David Stuckenberg, one of the nation’s leading EMP experts, wrote extensively about the threat balloons carrying bombs pose to national security.

MSN is intellectually bankrupt, technically illiterate and a lying film of worthless pond scum.

There is no scientific output from such a fake organization.

There is absolutely ZERO information on NORAD’s website, about the balloon intrusion. Funny... that-

https://www.norad.mil/

NORAD proudly proclaims their interceptions of Russian aircraft on their website.

The CONELRAD stations were there to give citizens advance warning of an imminent attack concerning things like this.

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

I’m pretty sure the two CONELRAD radio stations on the AM dial were not intended for advance warning.

The CONELRAD stations, if I’m not mistaken, were intended to complicate navigation for enemy bombers. Instead of having hundreds of radio stations, each with its own frequency that a bomber could home in on, all civilian radio stations would transmit only on the two CONELRAD frequencies.

Hence the name CONtrol of ELectronic RADiation.

Part of what they did was for disallowing attacks aircraft to hone in on radio signals. But it was also used to transmit information to the public. And we were talking about what the public was aware of.

“CONELRAD (Control of Electromagnetic Radiation) was a method of emergency broadcasting to the public of the United States in the event of enemy attack during the Cold War. It was intended to allow continuous broadcast of civil defense information to the public using radio stations, while rapidly switching the transmitter stations to make the broadcasts unsuitable for Soviet bombers that might attempt to home in on the signals (as was done during World War II, when German radio stations, based in or near cities, were used as beacons by bomber pilots).”

“…… according to intelligence officials”

Are these the same intelligence officials who claimed Hunter’s laptop was Russian disinformation?

You are far too kind to our military leadership, accusing them of mere incompetence.

FYI: The warhead on the US Sidewinder missile did NOT detonate when it impacted the Chinese War Balloon. It could be because the target was too soft to cause the missile’s impact fuse to work, and maybe its proximity fuse could not “see” the thin floating balloon enough, that it was unable to reflect enough of a signal to “read” its proximity. But more likely? I believe the US Air Force removed the explosive warhead from the missile, so they were basically firing a supersonic dart at the balloon, so as to take no chances of damaging the technological apparatus it was carrying!
